Neo.QPMailin

In QuickPlace you can send an email to a Place which in turn will be received in a specified room. You can extend that functionality with some coding but if you want this functionality in several Places, then it becomes a cumbersome process to maintain the extra code.

Neo.QPMailin can handle multiple email targets within the same Place and you do not have to install anything else.


Description

Sometimes there is a need to post a document or the content of an email into a specific room and folder in a Place. Previously you had to visit the Place through a browser and manually add the information.
With Neo.QPMailin, you can forward the same information through your email system and into the desired Place - just by using a specified email address. You can have several email addresses for different targets and they can be in the same Place or different Places.

Neo.QPMailin is a 'Plug'n play' solution implemented into a Quickplace. You just install the Place on your server and sign the placebots with the proper access rights and then you are ready.

You create a mail-in setup document for each destination containing: QP name, email address, page library and folder name. In the backend, a mail-in database document is created in the QuickPlace Address book.



An example:
The user receives an email which should be transferred to a specific Place. The user can forward the email from within any email program. The email contains the following:

To: qp1meetings@qpsrv.com
Subject: Meeting minute from feb. 14 06

Translation of the above example: send this email to the folder "Meetings" in the subroom "Project Meetings" in subroom "Programme Management" in the place QP1.

    Our licensing model is based on number of unique Quickr members using the IBM Lotus Quickr server. A Maintenance and Support agreement is included in the cost for the first year:
