Neo.Tracking

In a Quickr environment it is not always clear how the Places are being used and how often users visit them. Many Places potentially just take up space and could be archived.

With Neo.Tracking, the administrator(s) can follow the activities and life cycle of the Users and Places of your own choice within your Quickr environment.

Description

A VALUABLE ANALYSIS TOOL FOR IBM LOTUS QUICKR

Within the Quickr environment it would be a difficult task to create analyses and reports based on the usage and tracking of users and Places. Places could just be taking up space or grow to the boundaries of the disc space and users could take up licenses for new users.

With Neo.Tracking you get the overview when you need it, either via a webpage or within the Notes client. You can choose between views based on User, Place or Date activities or view statistics through graphical charts.

You can export selected information to a spreadsheet and use it as part of the analysis for optimizing the IT infrastructure to suit the needs of the users.

We're proud to announce that Neo.Tracking is now validated as Ready for IBM Lotus Software.

YOU CHOOSE THE PLACES AND USERS TO INCLUDE

When setting up Neo.Tracking you can create an exclusion list of users and Places. Default setting is to include all Places and all users on the Quickr server.

Read more about Neo.Tracking features and benefits or contact us to download an evaluation version to install on your own server.

Below you can also check the list of add-ons for Neo.Tracking.

STATISTICS FOR USER ACTIVITY IN Quickr

Neo.Tracking enables the administrator to optimize the IT infrastructure to suit the needs of the users. This optimization is due to the identification of user behaviour facilitated by Neo.Tracking.

Neo.Tracking is a Usage Tracking Solution that collects all events on the Lotus Quickr server. When a user creates, edits or reads a document or a folder, an event document containing just that information is created. Neo.Tracking has both a web interface and a Notes interface, containing overviews that lets you navigate to each individual event document .

In addition, you can get an overview of when and which persons have logged on to a Place or server sorted by user, Place/server or date.

The Notes interface also provides you with additional administrative views.

NEO.TRACKING TECHNOLOGY

The technology behind Neo.Tracking is a number of Notes databases collecting all user activity in all Places on a server including which persons have read or edited which objects (e.g. documents or folders) and when they performed the action.

Access rights to documents, folders etc. are inherited from the individual Places, i.e. users can only view statistics for documents they have access to. An administrator role is also available for persons who have access to view all documents.

Neo.Tracking includes the possibility of exporting statistical information to a comma-separated file in order to present the data in another statistics program. For development of statistical reports generated directly from Neo.Tracking, please contact Opus Neo.

Compared to PlaceCatalog, Neo.Tracking provides the user with a better overview of relevant Places including number of documents, size of Place, subrooms and documents in each subroom.

Neo.Tracking includes an administration interface in order to check the status of running agents, i.e. the administrator can regularly check the performance of Neo.Tracking.
