OPUS NEO HONORED WITH PRESTIGIOUS NOMINATION FOR IBM LOTUS AWARD FOR THE PRODUCT: Neo.DashBoard

Copenhagen, December 21 – Opus Neo today announced that it has been nominated for the IBM Lotus Award in the Best Total Lotus Software Solution category for the 13th annual IBM Lotus Awards.

The IBM Lotus Awards recognize exceptional IBM PartnerWorld members that specialize in Lotus software solutions and have excelled at providing quality products, innovative solutions and superior services to customers.

Neo.DashBoard is that tool that helps the user to show “This is what I need to worry about based on my education, projects or communities”.

When using Lotus Quickr the user has an elegant web application with build-in functionalities to share information and manage documents. By using the Quickr Connectors, the user can use their favourite applications such as Office, Windows, Email client (Notes, later Outlook) and Sametime to leverage that information, but still there is a lot of “channels” to focus on if you want to find information or stay updated.

By adding a “layer” on top of the standard Quickr platform, Neo.DashBoard improves communication and helps users be more productive. By using a web browser and Web 2.0 technology, users can access information from the DashBoard through a web browser, RSS feed or a Sametime client.

Neo.DashBoard is a browser-based portal solution, based on IBM Lotus Domino and Lotus Quickr 8, that fully integrates: Quickr Places, Sametime Instant Messaging, Email systems (Domino Web Access or Microsoft Outlook), other web based solutions e.g. build on Notes.

At the same time it’s giving the user an elegant user interface and for the administrator, provides very powerful tools for administering “Places” and users.

Neo.DashBoard can be integrated to a Domino based directory or a Microsoft Active Directory.
